I always had a niche to turn a wrench growing up.  Always wanting to take items apart and put them back together.  If it had an engine I wanted to operate it, 4 wheeler, tractor, trucks and turning into motorsports with demo cars and pulling tractors. Carl’s 4wd just happened to be a mile from my house and I had the ability to start working at Carl’s 4wd in the early years of grade school and continued through college, I went from cleaning the place to installing lift kits.  But Bennan stated “I would be lying if I said growing up he would be in the Automotive repair and parts industry for a long term career.”

I also liked the electrical field, with a dad being an electrician and helping him growing up. I went to Ranken to earn an Electrical Degree in 2010 and would plan to be an electrician.  Shortly after graduating college, I had a vehicle accident that left me paralized from the waist down.  I was blessed and God had other plans.  Carl knew right away and believed in me that I had the ability to adjust and make my own career no matter what cards I got dealt.  Having the ability and understanding on how parts went on, made sense for me to start selling them.

So from there I kept focusing on company growth, not just in part sales but asking for more responsibilities to help manage the Company.  With working with Carl as a mentor, we both seemed to be on the same page with me earning a spot at becoming a business partner.  In 2017 I was blessed to be able to buy into Carl’s 4wd.  Which is a great success and honor, but my views on the company, respect for my staff and customers will never change from the start of the beginning.
